Traveling within Portugal
Train from Lisbon (Oriente) to Tomar – 1.50 hr journey and 12 minute taxi ride to Campsite
Train from Porto to Entroncamento - 2 hr journey and 20 minute taxi ride to Campsite
Exit Lisbon airport on arrivals floor and the taxi rank is immediately outside. Usual long queue but moves very quickly! Ask for ‘para Estaçao Oriente se faz favor‘– should cost no more than 10 euros for a car
At Estacao Oriente, purchase from the first floor ticket hall sales booth (or machine with credit card) a single ticket to Tomar – approx 11 Euros. Trains depart from Linha 1 (one floor above) normally but check on information screens.
Toilets are on the train but no buffet service. Journey will take 1.50 hours approx and Tomar is end of the line. Taxis are available outside of the station. If arriving before the rendezvous time of 17.30 feel free to drop your bags off at Camping Redondo and freshen up. Ask Taxi to take you to Parque do Campismo, Poço Redondo. This will take about 12-15 minutes and will cost 12-15 Euros.

Extended stays are most welcome and can be arranged directly with Camping Redondo
Medical
All participants must travel with a valid passport or ID card and adequate medical/travel cover (don’t forget your E11 card for emergencies).
