Joint Hash on Sunday Jan 20th.
88 hashers from Surrey, Hastings, Old Coulston, East Grinstead and a couple from Catch the Hare assembled in the ominous shadow of Box Hill.
Of course the trail led to the top of said hill. The flour vanished for a great distance, which gave a chance for the fat bastards to catch up, and for the rest to enjoy a great view whilst scrabbling in the undergrowth looking for the trail.
Without any surprise the trail led back down again to the beer stop. As the tail enders reached the beer it was back up another hill for the rest of the pack then down again to the on-in.
All this was in honour of
"Cool Box" whom had turned 50.
Three R.A.s from the larger hashes harangued the birthday girl and other participants in general before a general decamp to the pub in Dorking.
6 of us went to the Surrey Hash at Friston on Saturday Jan. 26th and a good time was had by all,despite the 8 mile hilly trail.
