Jobsworth,our Hare

The 188th Hash was on
Sunday July 1st

It was Canada Day, so Bushsquatter wore a silly hat to prove it.
Jobsworth not only set the trail without getting wet, he also brought multiple union jacks to counter the rebellious colonists.

garage saleThere were many perils on the trail, from aggressive sheep and frisky horses, but most dangerous of all was a garage sale. The latter has scuppered many a hash with its distractions. With national pride at stake the pack regrouped and soldiered on.

an assertive sheep Meanwhile back at the start, Playaway arrived late and set off in the direction of Rye, perhaps hoping that, even if he missed the Hastings Hash, he might catch the Folkestone one!
He did rejoin the pack at the end having done some of the real trail, but being alone, was seen off by the aggressive sheep.

BS and her maple leaf hatAt the ceremonies,Bushsquatter was cited for her silly hat and there was a battle of the Anthems with the two nations only being able to remember the chorus of each,so it was a draw.
Acting RA, Well Mounted did a grand job and there was a well deserved retreat to a smoke free pub.
